About Jenny

​

Jenny discovered mid Wales after moving in with a friend, following a short stint of travelling around Europe, Australia and New Zealand. She fell in love with the area, marvelling at the beauty of the rolling hills and the peacefulness and tranquillity of this remote location. 

 

Jenny couldn't believe her luck when Lower Fishpools came on the market, quickly purchasing the property with her husband Jonnie. Over the years, they have renovated and extended the property to accommodate their growing family. She has lived at the smallholding for over thirty years now!

After her children flew the nest, Jenny converted the house into a four-star luxury B&B, before building the two lodges with the help of her son. 

​

Jenny's true passion in life is horses, and here on site she has eight horses and ponies in total. After retiring from her professional life, Jenny gained a diploma in Zoopharmacognosy (animal self healing), before later qualifying as a massage aromatherapist. 

​

With a growing family of four children and nine grandchildren, Jenny is never alone at Lower Fishpools. Her family often help out with cleaning, checking the hot tubs or mowing the grass - it's a real family effort!
